Football Passion Friendship

David Atherall is a local author and life-long friend of mine. We grew up watching our local football team together with our mate Jon, through some of the darkest days of our clubs history. We often schemed about writing some kind of collaborative memoir of our experiences but never got round to it. In the end David decided to go head and write a novel over a summer, capturing the essence of a very special season, through the eyes of a teenager, and his two mates. I had the joy of designing the cover, featuring archival images and memorabilia.
